My guess is that the ddos attack is scheduled for exactly Saturday February 27th at 4:10 a.m. Swedish time when the exhausted devs have just finished tweaking the map generation code and shut down the old map into eternal darkness. At the exact moment as the new sun rises over a completely new world, 342 impatient caffeine jagged players (some up rediculously early, some up rediculously late and some merely standing up Aunt Kate's wedding to hunch over a keyboard) will attempt to log on simultaneously.

At that moment everything will grind to a shuddering halt, and after six or seven attempts at a reboot, the long suffering devs will give it up and go to bed for the first time since six a.m. Thursday morning, leaving the diehards patiently waiting to make a forum post announcing that at least they got as far as the character creation room but it crashed while they were entering their new character name.

The 27 4chan members who are still bent on mischief will actually coordinate their attack at 5:21 Swedish time only to find the site down, and will withdraw in satisfaction at a destructive job well done.
