New Brodgar - World 9

What we are:
New Brodgar is a new player friendly village with open recruitment for any settler. The city is organized into a grid work of plots (1,225 tiles each) that more resembles a series of hermits living in close proximity than a traditional village with shared production.
We are a haven for new players, casual players, players that enjoy playing independently, and players interested in being social.

What we aren't:
There are two important caveats:
- We don't share goods as in a communal village, and naturally lose some of the efficiency of pooled resources. However, there is robust sharing of goods and trade, and we have access to endgame activities typically only enjoyed by major factions.
- New Brodgar is not a closed city with a large wall that only city dwellers may enter. We operate an open plot work where other players may visit at will. Although this is a uniquely social and exciting environment, there are inherent risks.
What to expect:
- No expectations or demands
- Free plot for construction
- Both independence and the option to cooperate with other players as you choose
- Helpful and Friendly players in all timezones
- The option to engage in high end PvP, even as a new or inexperienced player
- Exciting lifestyle; things happen here all the time
- A unique hybrid of independent living and city life
- The opportunity to become known and friendly with major factions that otherwise have closed recruitment
- The opportunity to learn the game at your own pace and discover and part of Haven you have yet to explore.
Our rules:
- Be respectful to others
- Follow the plot layout

Well nothing noteworthy has really happened. Unless you find flattening terrain with wooden shovels absolutely riveting.

I caught a pike today. Thats about it. Now I am trying to figure out if I caught the pike, or if someone else did and threw it back into the water.
