Bugged Building Fence
Soo...were building a boat, and i was fooling around with the shadow and other video options to see how many frames they drop, then i noticed this:
The little rope fence around the building sign went in the air...PHYSICS!

Can reproduce by setting down anything quickly over and over again.

I got it with building my tower, thing is it wasn't there when I placed it, it was fine ... it was when I came back to it with more stone to continue building and there after it appeared randomly, sometimes looked normal and other times like this.
I also had it with building a tar kiln in the mine only the foundations went below the cave floor instead of above. I didn't take a screen, I thought it was just a bug like the other graphics glitch with all the lovely shapes and colours.

I have been experiencing same kind of issues. Like all signs I place fence is in weird height.

I have also experienced this after entering and leaving a building, entering and leaving again also resolved it. Didn't bother me though as made no difference to the construction site.
