I dont get it, what does spring water actually do? Doesn't seem worth claiming at all to me, never seen one run out, all the ones I find are full and just seems like ordinary water.

They do run dry eventually, I have taken water from one and had it happen. To me it seems like they give more stamina gain than regular water.

doesn't quality also do that? I know springs can be only q20 whereas normal water q20+ doesn't see hard to find. guess the claimed springs are very high q or something

Well yes, I assume q10 spring water would give slightly better stamina gain than q10 regular water and that is what it looks like to me but honestly I haven't really tested it out. I've found maybe one spring where the quality was slightly less than my surv in one area but 99% of them I have capped so it does seem the quality might be high.

I did a bit of testing and it seems I might be incorrect about the water although now I'm really confused about it, some q20 average water is giving me back 10% stamina per sip but so is q30 avg spring water and you would think that the higher quality should be giving more regardless of spring/regular and yet I am getting 10% stamina back from the spring water too.

Perhaps they have something planned for it that is not yet in the game. Maybe beer brewing might require spring water, for example. Or some fancy dough that gives lots of FEPs, etc...
