Are we going to get a World expansion?

So.. died again today from the winged helm pirates.

Are we going to get a map expansion eventually? With the connected rivers, a larger map might be nice...

Another few weeks at most, I reckon. They've expanded every world that has started at 5x5 since I started playing except 4, and it got killed about six weeks in due to rampant skill gains from botting. Why they don't start at a bigger map, I don't know. Last world was way too big, and even 3 got too big, but this is way too small for the number of players that have joined the game. If you don't no-life the first week, you're screwed for the first few months (until the no-lifers burn out, that is).

It is only too small because of random spawn.

the connecting rivers and easier way to move through the river system is nice...but yea..a bigger map would be nice for those who just want to be recluse and avoid masses of people

I get the impression that a lot of people complaining about the world size moved to the edges of the world to avoid people, and as a result ended up in disproportionately crowded areas.

I didn't move all that far from my spawn point and I have no issues with crowding whatsoever, and don't meet many other players.

I think that the tight map allows the flaws of haven to show through quicker so that they can be solved.
Isolation just means the problems are hidden.
