Criminals and owning scents

Recently I found a fresh murder scent which I decided to track despite not having rage on the character

I quickly came to a pclaim with a trespassing scent on it and through triangulation and a bit of camping I was able to determine that not only was the perp inside of this noobs house, he was also afk. Despite this individual's obnoxious levels of mental retardation, I was unable to act at all.

I feel that if a person is holding a murder scent to a perp, they should be able to attack and kill that person without needing the rage skill

Alternatively, you could perhaps attack and ko the person if you are holding their scent, and then right click the murder stench onto their body to kill them; meaning no murder spent on your end

My problem is that it promotes alts. Maybe some sort of gate on the ability to prevent alts wandering everywhere with murder scents - it should be like a character with 100klp or something along those lines.

In that sense could make it a new skill one would be required to learn in order to use this method to get revenge (or avenge) against murderers.

People are so paranoid about alting shit. Who cares. If they're alt spamming to track scents it's either
A - a shitty no mc/ua alt.
B - an alt fighter who could just as easily buy rage
