Hi guys and grills, i was Ratonces back in World 7 (i think) and really loved the game, i stopped playing mostly because i got tired of it back then (probably played it for like, three months nonstop). Now, one year later i started missing the game, and a few weeks ago i visited the official site and saw that the so called "Haffen" back then was already released.
So this thread is something like, a request for help, too ask what major changes since then and see if anyone wants to play with me. :X
OBS: My nickname back then was Ratonces, i had a thread here somewhere, and remember a few names of people who helped me back then, i dont know though if they are still active.

One major change is that of your 68 posts only 1 is searchable (this one) which might be why you're having trouble finding your thread or any of your posts really.

Yeah, weird. No big deal though. I just found out that ants now follow you in the shallow water.Kaios wrote:One major change is that of your 68 posts only 1 is searchable (this one) which might be why you're having trouble finding your thread or any of your posts really.

curios/food list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1468017592
i'll give ya some random stuff to get started but i am close to the south edge as a hermit
no more twitch hunting and horses are tameable. they added resource nodes that are strong such as ageless ice, completely finishes all curios no matter how long they have left

Yeah, the old forum was corrupted during the big change. That was an unfortunate side effect and likely won't be fixed.
New siege system this world with catapults and what not. Attackers damage the health of your claim until it runs out and then they can freely begin to destroy stuff with siege weapons. Rams operate like normal.
Stat cap of 300 for free players and 330 for subscribed players.
You can now use scents and other materials to make Nidbanes -- ghosts that seek out criminals and attempt to kill them for you. If they're successful they'll return with the criminals skull.
Crossroads are gone.
Keys aren't perfect but suck a lot less.
We now have giant ships.
Rare, regionalized materials such as alt and ice which are incredibly valuable because of their effects, such as instantly finishing your entire curio study.
Horses and tameable horses.
Lots of new critters.
New combat system that you'll want to explore.
Visitors (players who enter a claim through a gate) cannot initiate criminal acts so most of the time players cannot just walk through your front door and wreck everything. If there are unclaimed spots within your walls, someone toggles a criminal act before they enter your gate, or an animal is aggro'd and lead through your door, then damage and destruction can still ensue.
Roads are a thing now and we can teleport along formal roads (including over water).
I think that tackles most of the big stuff.

Oh, nice, lots of new stuff. I'm playing it right now, forgot about most things, having to learn it from scratch almost.TeckXKnight wrote:Yeah, the old forum was corrupted during the big change. That was an unfortunate side effect and likely won't be fixed.

A read through the first posts of the announcement threads should give you a comprehensive overview of what has changed.
