After the last update I can not find the button to fill smelters with 12 coal. What am I doing wrong?

It's hidden by default now. Go to Display Settings > Hide extensions menu option.

I don't know how can i do . I not find file config.java in amber folder.
What program is needed to edit java files?

When after the update, I tried to enter the world the client froze.
Now when I try to enter the world I am thrown back to the login screen.

You need to download the source code, then open it as a project with eclipse, make your changes, compile it, then run the files you have compiled.
