Hello. I am from this village. We are was peaceful village. Most of our villagers already killed by members of nearby village at SW. You are wrong.

I thought it could be something like that, and that's why I used the subjunctive in the OP. One of my friends was killed in the swamp in front of your place, but I know of that village SW and I imagined they could have something to do with it. I'm taking this as a confirmation that you didn't kill them, thanks for the quick reply.

The village you looking upon, ven, was tortured by marauders. A lot of us were killed without any chance to fight back. Yet no one from us killed anyone (except animals that is). So no, this is not a village you are looking for.

Sad to hear that another person died from, probably, same person.

Did further adventurous digging and can confirm the source of yours and my friends' woes is indeed the village Southwest.
Welp there goes my hope of convincing them not to kill half a dozen noobs.
