You won't even put a scratch in it without a pick axe, no matter how much strength you get.

Sure he will. Damage you do to buildings is your strength/10. Axe adds 1 to it, pickaxe 2. You need to beat the building's soak value to do any damage. Palisades' soak is 8. Or was it 4? Someone correct me, please.

Its either 40str or 50str, + pic axe.

So either 6 or 7 soak, probably 6.

i have 75 str right now (35+40 by bear cape and bear tooth talisman) and can't do even a scratch actually with axe. so you're wrong about 6 and 8.

Yeah you need at least 100 and it takes a long ass time to do so even then.

maybe it is really 8. and you have to deal at least 9. 80str+axe _maybe_. or 70str+pickaxe.

Edit:

Damage to items is calculated as (str/10) +1 for axe or +2 for pickaxe. Some items now have a soak value, notably brick walls have ten. That means that a character with a pick axe needs to have a strength of at least 80 in order to even dent a brick wall.
