Unless there is something else that jorb caused other than the creation of the anorexic mountain.

I'm a busy guy with busy-guy problems, man
Dole told Clark he was Oddi so I didn't break out the fukkin magnifying glass and l00k for clues I just accepted that
What's to stop an Oddi satellite from just denying it huh

And if you're doing shady shit it's pretty dumb to not expect some sort of backlash from that, but we didn't even move shit from the base lol just waited to see the outcome

Also Boshaw killed himself out of guilt so you can add that to the damage report

Judging by the gloating from certain concerned parties I would not at all exclude further brimstone.

Are you referring to Ainran? Because, well, I don't play the game, I just like reading funsies, so any gloating on my part, if any would be from a different faction's perspective so to speak. But, the only trash talk I've seen has been towards Robben DuBitchface not Overtyped?jorb wrote:Judging by the gloating from certain concerned parties I would not at all exclude further brimstone.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but nothing recent has been directed towards Overtyped

Re: Divine Judgment: The Case of overtyped vs 広島市
We set this precedent during the Core raid, and have tried to follow it since. Our ambition is not to try to completely reimburse overtyped's losses, but simply to offer our condolences. We do not pretend to be able to restore him or reverse what happened, because we cannot meaningfully -- or perhaps rather economically -- do that.Klopus wrote:lol
A month of sub sounds like a mockery.
Dole is just one guy, his base is small, and I could with relative ease help him out, but if I do then I also set the precedent that that is something we do, and if I do that, what, then, happens when data corruption wipes a map grid and there are a hundred people who expect the same assistance?
Events like these suck, and I do not want to trivialize them or brush them off, or claim that we have done everything right, but our bottom line is that we do not reverse the results of bugs, even if they are serious. We are just two guys, and we have to prioritize where we spend our time, and I don't mean that as an "excuse", or whatever, but am simply trying to put you in our shoes.
Simply doing investigations on things like these, looking up scents, village lists, PMs, talking to people, &c&c, completely *eats* dev hours. It takes a lot of time, and the end results of these police actions tend to leave very few people happier. For example, they do not seldom result in comments like your own.
While I am to some extent loosely convinced of the occasional need of interventions, I think the general rules we try to go by -- fix problems before policing the game, and do not reimburse people for bugs -- are sound and necessary, and as such I stand by them.
I am sorry if you find this a mockery, or w/e, but it is not meant to be.

Bob was fighting alongside wizards/odditown all last world, he claimed he was "with odditown" when they first met him and the willy potter people lied about not having him kinned: from Bob's own screenshot you can see Rawrz.Delamore wrote:So has anyone from Ainran presented an argument for why they thought Bob Dole would be covered under the wizard thing?
The other reason they raid him is because his gates were open. This is something which by Jorb's own words is apparently considered a "sub-optimal" and "unnecessary, and in some sense obviously accident-prone" safety decision.

Let's pretend that I didn't speak of the totality of their layout, yeah. I'm sure that helps the discussion.MightySheep wrote:The other reason they raid him is because his gates were open.
