30 FPS inside the village - lowest settings, 15 FPS inside the village - highest settings.
Custom client gives 40 FPS inside the village - lowest settings, 20 FPS inside the village - highest settings.
and I have a really good computer that can run anything.

I have 100 fps inside village and outside village

But you're probably comparing a custom client to the default client, try comparing the old default client to the optimized one, and there will be a big difference.
Also when the custom clients get optimized there will probably be a bigger difference too (with simple crops and no flavor objects and whatnot).
But wtf 100 fps? What kind of NASA computer do you have man

What's the actual error?

I see the java logo in the middle of the screen, with "java...", than it ends and thats all, not any error message.
With the "old" client, I dont see the java logo, the game just start fine.
