I'll note for those of you using nicotine, it's still the primary carcinogen from tobacco. Don't think because you're not smoking the plant your safe from the various cancers it causes. There's also a ton of studies being done on the different flavoring additives. At least one has been pulled because it was found out it was the same thing as causing rapid onset lung cancer (bubble lung I believe it's known as) in factory workers producing artificial butter flavor.

There's a chemical used, and I forget the name of it because, hell, it's a chemical name. Only chemistry nerds remember that stuff. Anyway, same chemical is used in the manufacturing of some of the e-cig flavorings.

edit and note: my step-daughter's boyfriend's parents run a vape shop in my city. It's how they quit smoking and wanted to help others get off cigarettes. You can find vape and e-cig products without these chemicals that are found to be toxic.

Like when a farrier burns a red-hot horseshoe onto the hoof, that kind of smoke. It's grose.

That being said, vape smoke is slightly more tolerable, but only just. It just smells like chemicals and shit that makes my nose wrinkle.

Ah, I am not quite familiar with that scent myself. I do agree though that smoke of a cigarette does smell quite awful.

Nicotine alone is not carcinogenic. Neither addictive either.
