Why are vegetarians hated?

Yeah, eating meat is pretty much a drop in the bucket compared to all the harm you're doing to animals by living an industrialized lifestyle. Our thirst for oil is much worse than killing individual animals, kinda like how genocide is worse than murder. And there's simply too many people on Earth to all live in balance with nature as hunter-gatherers. So really, if you're so concerned with ethics, suicide is your only option.

Having ethical standpoints when it comes to human life is terrible. I say fuck it, let's destroy this world and everything on it, we're on a one way ticket to extinction anyways, why not have fun while it lasts?

well we all used to eat meat.
no one is ever called a vegetarian.
You need balanced meals and for vegetables to do that you'd have synthetic/artificial foods which they call meatless such as
meat-free meat loaf.

Please tell me how. Meat is expensive. In some of the more... Rural areas, people eat bandicoots, possums and kangaroos if they hit them in their car as a result. Others deliberately try to hit them so they get a fresh feed...

Atleast in Finland.
If you hit animal with your car on road (government owned road, aka. all roads) and it dies it is property of government. It is strightly illegal to do anything else than move it out of way so others dont hit it.
