When gold and silver were introduced, Loftar stated that gold has 1 in 400 chance and silver 1 in 300. That was before nuggets. I think it's reasonable to assume those numbers were just divided by 10 when nuggets got implemented.

Its 0.8 gold nuggets and 1.5 silvernuggets per smelter load at full industry. I have a big sample size, so unless you are loftar or jorb dont even try to argue with me.

Also all jewelry quality is tied to smithing and psyche. Don't even bother wasting the gold unless you've got someone pumping both stats. Last map I was crafting Q250 rings because I ate a thousand cave bulbs and dumped 5 million LP into smithing.

You guys need to understand the difference between "Bar" and Nugget. the OP says he wants to buy "Bars" of gold and pothje is pointing out that it would take on avarage atleast 8 melters worth of gold ore to get enough nuggets to make even one of those Gold "Bars" hes asking to buy. Since the OP is asking to buy 10 "Bars" you cant help to think that he might not know how gold/silver melting works, and maby he might not know how much he would have to pay for that amount of pure metals.

When you melt pure metals like Gold and Silver you will only find nuggets in the melter when its done, not a hole "Bar" like it does when you melt common metals!
