I have some question on etiquette. I think and hope that maybe you can help to answer for me. I think this is problem for many people issues comes up often. Maybe we on forum can come up with solution for men to stop this suffer.
Scenario: You are walking to destination. Destination is 150% of regular walking step distance away from current position.
Strategy 1 (50% -> 100%)
You take one small half-step (50% step) to ''readjusting'' current positioning before the destination.
Then, you take normal step to goal.
Note: Alternate play is to make these move in reverse (i.e. 100% -> 50%). Consider this play to be under this strategy 1.
Pros:
- You travel the largest possible distance to goal location using standard regular (100%) step.
- Half-step is easy maneuver for performing.
- Small step draws small attention.
- If any one is watched you, it will look like you ''missed'' when do walks to need to do this readjustment step.
- Has further issue of determine which is better of 50% -> 100% vs. 100% -> 50%
You take one very large step sized 150% of regular step to get to this destination all one go.
Pros:
- Simple to explain this strategy, useful in time of stress where speed is mattering.
- Maybe can play off funny looks here as a joke.
- Probably making legs stronger.
- Large step draws large attention.
- Maybe playing off as joke is failing.
- If user is already at or close to limit on 100% step, maybe 150% step can not be performed with success.
You split difference, and take 75% step toward goal.
Then, you take another 75% step to arrive at goal.
Pros:
- Only 25% difference between steps and 100% steps, as opposed to 50% difference of strategy 1 and A (less likely for noticing).
- 75% is large enough step to not look as ''miss'' of walks.
- Must perform two irregular steps instead of only one as with other strategies.
- If misjudging 75% step distance, can put into bad position (e.g. maybe must make very irregular step as 14% or 107% steps to fix after failed judge).
