How to get Con fep when you live in a forest?

I'm wondering how in the world I will get constitution now that bread has been nerfed. I live in a pine forest and while I do take periodic sailing voyages to look for aurochsen I can kill they are very hard to find. This pretty much rules out anything made with butter such as apple pie, and the beef itself.

Right now I am looking at taking a couple of days journey to find a mining village that will trade with me and sell me a frying pan so I can fry eggs and get con fep that way -but there are no guarantees I can find one and get a pan from them.

My two easiest stats to get are strength and intelligence - They are already rather in advance of my constitution. This means going with the 1/3 chance of getting con when I eat pike will probably dig me deeper into the hole.

Anyone have any suggestions of a good diet/food balance that would be practical in this situation? For reasons having to do with hit points it doesn't seem to me a good idea to allow my constitution to go on trailing.

Yeah, they appear to defy statistics and give five times more con than dex when you actually raise a stat.
