Most color settings are stored in the theme config.ini. Check to see if data/theme/theme-name/config.ini is changing when you change your colors.InvaderDoom wrote:Hey Boshaw, for some reason my theme settings aren't saving to my character. Every time I close the client and restart it, all my color settings have reset. Am I doing something wrong?

Alright cool, I'll give that a look. Thanks!boshaw wrote:Most color settings are stored in the theme config.ini. Check to see if data/theme/theme-name/config.ini is changing when you change your colors.
Also, when you do the next update, would we be able to possibly resize the quick handslots? It's super tiny on my screen and I seem to lose it a lot
I'm not sure if this is outside the realm of possibility, but there's a Client that has just a straight feature where you can shift+click and drag to select an area while mining, it starts mining the area, and drops everything you mine while you're mining. Is this possible at all? It feels a lot more normal and natural. If not, it's no big deal, but I don't know anyone who mines things tile-by-tile

No, since that's not how the scripting works in this client. You would have to start mine-area and select the area and let it go.InvaderDoom wrote: I'm not sure if this is outside the realm of possibility, but there's a Client that has just a straight feature where you can shift+click and drag to select an area while mining, it starts mining the area, and drops everything you mine while you're mining. As for dropping ore/stones it's something that will be in next update since the held item fix by loftar which screws up stuff like drinking on mouse, harvest script, etc.

Quick question, is there a config file to show things on the mini-map like carts, wagons, and boats?

Re: Ape Client
That doesn't cause a crash and happens every start because of a missing registry from old config stuff.peanutzrgud wrote:I think this error could be why it crashes whenever something happens (dying) or something new/big comes on screen

What exactly is crashing you?

format is:
res-name=path-to-icon
The res-name is the name you see if you ctrl+hover over an object. the gfx/terobjs/...
there should be a few examples already in it.

Re: Ape Client
I honestly don't know.
I did lower some graphical settings because this game is really finicky with graphics and frames, and went from 30 to about 58.
Maybe the high settings caused it to crash when too much was happening on screen.
Ill test this for awhile and report back.
Any way i could monitor what happens when it crashes???

Re: Ape Client
If it crashes (closes screen) you should see an error in the console OR in "logs/log - Last Run" OR you may see some file in the base directory like 'h#####.pid' or something like.peanutzrgud wrote:I honestly don't know.

If the screen stays up then you likely are freezing on something.
What are your settings anyway?
