I think there is not much you can be doing except always have full study with top tier curio. ''Pro'' groups either use bot or many players to have very high quality good in bulk. They can either make good curio to study all the time directly and/or trade these item for the best curios in the game. Also consider subscription increases LP gain and certain item like pearl jewelry. They also obvious will have access to high intelligence score.

For a good curios, Seer's Bones, Seer's Spindle, Seer's Stones, etc. Teddy Bears, Moose Antlers, and Bat Wings are also very good hunting curios. Killing things give LP, so running around killing shit creatures is good (bats are a great example), and remember a pearl neck and RoB for the LP boost.

Ok so I'm pretty sure the best way to start is by raising INT significantly for LP(at least to keep up with the attention you need for your currently available curios). Basically screw raising the other stats equally because high cooking and high q materials will eventually make up for the gap. The possible exception to this rule being psyche because it's so hard to get and also increases curio quality.

My question is, starting from a fresh character, do you guys think it would make more sense to either:

A) Try to raise psyche alongside INT, using up psyche materials as they are acquired

B) Wait to raise cooking instead, save psyche materials for when high cooking level is achieved

The main difference being that the higher INT is the more Psyche FEP is required to raise Psyche.

I'll usually push to 50 INT and not worry about balance too much. I've not really taken the time to look at my "new character" strategy with the introduction of satiations, though, so I suppose I should really consider the food I have available before posting. I tend to eat a wide variety of food, anyway, including fish.

I am not really expert player, but I think that any amount of unbalance of statistic you can do as new player with no industry will be easy to fix when you have establish industry. I guess this is worth it for able to get LP faster in beginning, which I think is already more hard to get than FEPs.
