Simply you need to check how many XP/LP they earn vs a human being playing the game. I guess you are agree with me that a human being cannot play the game 24/7? So taking these stats you are able to make a graph for the whole server and using Math ( that Loftar know for sure pretty well) you can understand some range where for sure a human being cannot replicate.
Also to notice that bots act always in the same way....differently from men.
So, in short, you are saying that if we make an analysis of players behavior....someone that use bots will develop a so clever bot that can emulate an human being playing the game.....ahaha, i guess you are over exstimating H&H playerbase.
In short you're saying that JLo have the capacity to write something that discerns whether or not a character is a human?
If JLo ban bots that are on 24/7, someone will make bots that aren't.
If JLo ban bots with abnormal LP/Time Online, someone will make bots that don't have an abnormal statistic.
If JLo ban bots for moving in abnormally, non-human manners, someone will make bots that move normally.
EDIT: And all along the way you need to worry about false positives.
You can see where that is going. Constantly needing to change your detective algorithm because people are circumventing it is simply not worth the time. There are individuals that play this game that would go to any end to make sure they can keep botting to get the upperhand.
