Noise on/off button.
As the subject says, could we have a noise on/off button? I generally listen to music, and even with winamp at 100% and the hardware knob low, the H&H sound effects are grating.
i guess they never miss huh

Your computer doesn't have a built-in program muter?
You can probably download one somewhere.

You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Unless Windows XP has some feature to do that that I am unaware of, nope.Blaze wrote:Your computer doesn't have a built-in program muter?

XP, as far as I know, does not do that. My sound drivers do not have a program to go along with them to do something like that either.
Anyway, for if Loftar reads this: Since you hate UI work, you could just make it a command - ie. Sound 1, Sound 0; for on and off respectively. Just have it check before it plays a noise if you have Sound turned on or off

The trouble is by muting all sounds you cant listen to radio at the same time.
Might I suggest a ":sound off" command?
