Re: Favorite Christmas Tunes
Good ol' Jingle Bells, It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, all the classics would be my favorites.

Re: Favorite Christmas Tunes
One of my favourite for this time of the year is "People Look East".

A very fitting Advent hymn, of preparation rather than celebration.

"...the dungeon and shackles are already at my threshold to show me here and now my eternal disgrace. Only you can work the miracle to make life possible for a soul so imperiled by doubt, O Atoner for all, exalted beyond saying." - St. Gregory of Narek, Book of Lamentations, Prayer 1.

Re: Favorite Christmas Tunes
Another favourite of mine is Creator of the Stars of Night.

My favourite version is the one in the 1940 Episcopal Hymnal, as that one has a tangy minor chord at the end of the verse. But most versions are also good to me.

Re: Favorite Christmas Tunes
Well, I do have some favourite Christmas songs. But these are not properly Christmas songs - they're Advent songs, something more like pre-Christmas songs.

May I present the seasonal Wisconsin anthem, Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
And there's this. I don't think y'all are ready for the levels of schmaltz and maudlin in this: Christmas Shoes

Love them both.
