Coffe or Tea

I'm primarily a tea drinker, I either drink it black with lemon or white (milk) I don't have sugar in tea. I had a period of about a year when I only drank herbal tea and although you can get some lovely flavours it really is no substitute for a good cup of black tea and tbh I prefer fruit flavours cold rather than hot anyway.

I do usually have a coffee at some point during the day most days, coffee I take with cream and one sugar, occasionally black with two sugars. When I'm at my parents in Australia I drink copious amounts of iced coffee though, they do it much better over there than they do here in England.

Strong black coffee the moment I open my eyes in the morning otherwise the day isn't worth starting.
And then a few litres of earl grey thorough the day

Currently i've been drinking Dandy Blend. It's made from ground up dandelion roots (and a couple other herbs). You can use it to make coffee or tea depending on how much you put in a cup. It's really good, caffeine free, and SUPER healthy. It's also supposed to be really good ice cold, but i haven't tried that yet.

Although besides that, i love both, i can't decide. I hate sweetened coffee like mocha, coffee isn't supposed to be sweet or taste like chocolate! I like my coffee just plain black or, preferably, with a nice amount of cream. And nice and bitter.

For tea, i like just good normal green tea. But i love herbal mixes like chamomile or ginger, and there was some brand of black tea we'd gotten and i drank that with some milk every morning for like two weeks. Especially chamomile during bedtime. That stuff makes you sleep like a baby. (What is that expression? Babies sleep terribly! They always wake up and cry. Take it from me, i'm the oldest in my family, and i had to listen to four noisy babies. >:c)

EDIT: Don't worry, SmackMcBacon, i'm not a manlet! I drink coffee more often than tea.

I usually drink black coffee in the morning and some tea after work.

IMO coffee is best without anything in it, it has a really deep flavor, especially if you get the good stuff.

Herbal tea is good too, I usually make it from scratch instead of pre-bagged. My favorite's chai tea and apple cinnamon. Ginger peach is pretty good too. I have black and green tea but don't usually drink it because caffine at that time makes me stay up.

Nothing and i mean nothing beats a good old brew of Yorkshire tea with 2 sugars and a drop of milk.

Will have to agree that it is an acquired taste for most, but for some reason, I can recall being a toddler and liking it. Same goes with beer and wine, too... probably because I remember how much trouble I'd get into for stealing my dad's drinks.

I like a good hot tea with a touch of lemon and honey, but I usually just drink plain iced black tea; nothing fancy. I am a daily coffee drinker, though, but usually no more than one or two cups (stomach can't handle the acid levels; they're higher than most sodas). I have that nasty American addiction to sugar water with loads of caffeine for my regular dosing into the blood stream.

Well actually small childreen doesn't have the part of the taste buds that tastes the flavours like coffe/whiskey/beer etc evolved yet. It's the last of the taste buds to evolve.

so before u're like 3 u are likely to like coffee, only to learn to not like it again, and later ofc having to relearn to like it!
