Stockpiles of leather gone missing out of nowhere.

Post by 1Marko1 »

Hello upon logging in our village yard we had a visible stockpile of leather (precisely 2 full) and they were suddenly missing. We thought that somebody would have stolen them but there were no footprints, and literally only the 2 huge stockpiles of leather are missing.

Help?

They could have high stealth so you couldn't see their scent.
Or your "friends" backstabbed you.

Could have decay if it is not on claim, but I think theft is more likely.

If it's on a claim, it shouldn't have decayed. I'd wager one of your "friends" stole it.

Stockpiles don't decay, though, so it's not that. Yeah, I'd ask your "friends" what's up.

Yes they do. Instead of durability they lose quantity. Try leaving a full stockpile of dirt off a claim for a while and you'll see it start to shrink.

Ohhh, okay, that makes sense.

I can't imagine a full stockpile would decay as quickly as OP said, though.

Decay is random, it might hit quick and hard or not at all...

This, and testing has shown that decay in an area is most frequent when people are logged in and actively playing in the same place for an extended period of time.

Worth noting the claim needs to be active with a positive amount of presence for personal claims, and authority for village claims. Claims without the proper power do not provide any protections from game mechanics.

Most likely not a bug.
