Except it also makes English a pretty bulky language, borrowing a bit from so many languages as well as some words itself.Burinn wrote:I'd argue the flexibility of English as far as pronunciation is concerned is exactly what makes English particularly good; not "dumb".Kaios wrote:English is a dumb language, either way is correct. Grammar and conjugation aside, English is needlessly complex. There's all sorts of needless rules that native speakers follow yet couldn't at all describe them to someone. All that it does really is make it harder for people to learn.Burinn wrote:I'd argue the flexibility of English as far as pronunciation is concerned is exactly what makes English particularly good; not "dumb".Kaios wrote:English is a dumb language, either way is correct. That's not really "Grammar and conjugation aside" then if the next sentence's gripe is with grammar.Shadow7168 wrote: There's all sorts of needless rules that native speakers follow yet couldn't at all describe them to someone.
Seems like less of an English problem and more of a communication problem to me

+1. Even with permadeath I can't help but think this game has a little slice of Heaven in it. Especially when it was 2D, but that's another story.Patchouli_Knowledge wrote:Also Heaven and Earth.
