I still think hunting is just dumb.
Its too difficult to do any hunting without aboosing bugs. Ranged combat is literally unusable for "legit" hunting. (ie. not using boat or blocking animal by other cool ways)
Viable bleeding mechanics still not implemented. In real life, if you try to shoot deer with bow and you miss, it does not attack and kill you. If you hit somewhat good place, it will die quite quickly due to bleeding. In HnH you will have to shoot it like hundreds of times, or few times with 1000 statted charcater. I doubt that devs are able to kill any other animals than bunnies, rabbits and maybe squirrels at least before dozens/hundreds of stats.
Hunting is so shit.
Theres still plenty of exploits for hunting. Either devs should make hunting like it was in legacy. (Shoot animal from boat until it dies, maybe chase it if it runs away)
or then re implement whole hunting and make it somewhat tolerable.

About bleeding yesterday I tried to beat up a fox with punches and when I dealt enough damage it started bleeding for..0hp then ran away because beaten up animals run away faster.

I think that once I saw one animal bleed for 2 hp. That is really not enough though, as they run so fast. It should be more like 20

If animal is wounded, maybe fatally. It should be at the very least very slow, and lose its combat ability. Also it should bleed to death. (If you hit it with sharp object or shot it)

They do bleed to death though. Currently, yeah, hunting isn't that great, but hey, it's an alpha game. Nothing will be perfect (Except for the wring neck sound effect. That is perfect.) and many things will need changing.

Some mod should change title and put in C&D.

You're not supposed to be able to kill bears and mammoths on day 5. As for how to hunt:

1. Put on some armor.
2. Get some UA.
3. Punch animals. Use defensive, initiative-gaining and initiative-using moves as needed.

It works fine. Yes, it can be difficult. Yes, it's dangerous and yes, it will mess you up. It's not supposed to be easy.

how about foxes, hunting anything beside boars rightnow is impossible unless you have alredy tamed a horse
