Alt+Shift in login window hanging client.

When i try to switch from russian to eng letters to insert password and press Alt+Shift window hangs up (do not respond).

Hi . If not on Default client it's not a bug. Try with the custom client thread.

I've heard about this problem with Thai keyboards as well, but I can't say I have any clue as to what might cause it, and I don't seem to be able to reproduce the problem on any of my own computers either.

The only thing I can think of is if you could provide me with a thread dump of the Java process when it is hung.

Am I correct in that he could update his password and use his normal character layout without causing an issue on the website with logging in? Might not fix the crash itself, but would mean he doesn't have to switch keyboard layouts to log into the game.

Yes, there should be no problem with using Russian characters in the password.

right-click the Language bar, settings, Advanced tab, enable text services to all programs (правой клавишей на языковой панели, параметры, вкладка дополнительно, включить поддержку текстовых служб для всех программ)
