Depends on the card, but for the most part they affect the "weight," represented by μ(mu). For some maneuvers (e.g. Take Aim, Think) it reduces the cooldown. For many attacks, it increases damage. For many restorations, it increase the % of openings restored. Each combat move will say what it does for that move specifically, though.cirsium wrote:Please tell me what the number of cards in battle affects.
the µ. It goes from µ = 1 (1/5) to µ = 1.5 (5/5)cirsium wrote:Please tell me what the number of cards in battle affects.
With low stats you need exploits, like moving in deep water and using shallow water at your advantage. When they flee you cannot (usually) reach them if you are not on a boat or mountedVenture wrote:Can someone explain to me how the fighting in the game works?
How do I kill a bear/boar/fox with UA?
Okay I get that. It's more about what skills do I use to fight. I have 15 in UA. I tried to kill a fox from the boat. I used only Punch and it wrecked me. I don't really get which one should I use first and next.Aethyr wrote:With low stats you need exploits, like moving in deep water and using shallow water at your advantage. I'm ok with just punch, tbh.Venture wrote:Okay I get that. It's more about what skills do I use to fight. I have 15 in UA. I tried to kill a fox from the boat. I used only Punch and it wrecked me. Ants ara way more dangerous than foxes.Kearn wrote:hunting without a melee weapon with chop and some way to get IP is a nightmare, you either can't do much of any damage in close quarters or you nuke the quality with 42 garbage arrows you shot into its face
you should start with ants and bats when you get 25 or 30 ua and work towards getting some melee cards, maybe make some crappy armor to take the edge off if you have the resources
