I consider early game is the journey to palisades. Its a bitch to reach Yeomanry if you don't know what to buy. Its easy as fuck to mess up royally and halt your technology progression. I started playing this world 5 hours ago and I've been wandering around jacking other peoples shit that's not nailed down. Got myself tons of carrot, wheat and flax seeds; Made a leather backpack with some Russian leather. I don't have Yeomanry yet because I fucked up. Gotta wait 1-2 days until the 20+ hour curios pop in my study.
We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like.

Just did 3 and gathered some skulls around WinterForge. When do they become useful? :?

Some people on steam might not hate the game.
But if it has 98% negative reviews, no one is going to play it.
