Sevenless' guide mentions leaving the starter area. Guess that's old info. I'm still deciding on where to settle. So nasty lads (Huggie Hogs or some such and Dis) to the east? So anywhere but there?Kearn wrote:the starter area is the entire map

Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
Yeah, one of the earlier worlds (8 I think? before my time) had an area people would spawn in that was closer to the center of the map.
The NW corner of the world is relatively quiet from what I can tell. We recently had some folks (ozzy and co) coming to settle scores with the people in charge of the Akihabara kingdom, but other than that not a whole lot of drama.

Also can you log out on a boat over water?

Not recommended to log out over deep water. Since your boat stays put Trolls can pick up / move boats and you will just log back in deep water and die.uncleseano wrote:Good to hear, thanks for the heads up. You need walrus meat and carp (fish) not sure if intact one of filet. Maybe pepper too.Ag_Revol wrote:So how is this "Carpenter & Walrus" sausage made?

at first I thought you meant trolls as in the creature hahaRamki wrote:uncleseano wrote:Beezer12Washingbeard wrote:Trolls can pick up / move boats and you will just log back in deep water and die.
But if someone moves or destroys the boat now, I believe it just gives you the option to spawn at your hearthfire instead of drowning you. I don't know how new this is, it might be new as of w10
