Re: Game Development: Bring out yer Dead
I am genuinely confused by this.
Can someone explain to me how this is better than the old system?

When it comes to gold and silvers, the ancestors will in fact be happy with any quality.abt79 wrote:Gonna be impossible to get a q2 gold bar
There's a way to inherit your stats other than burial?GamingRAM wrote:Can someone explain to me how this is better than the old system?

So....
The base % retained is reduced from 30% to 15%, but you can make sacrifices to gain back points?

EDIT: Whoops, even I misunderstood it. Confusing update but it'll be much better this way I think.

Re: Game Development: Bring out yer Dead
Read the OP. It's reduced because it is now calculated as if you inherited the equivalent number of LP/FEPs put into a stat, rather than straight stat numbers. 15% equivalent LP is more than 30% straight stats:GamingRAM wrote:The base % retained is reduced from 30% to 15%

- The new regime is more lenient than the old regime. Conversion between the two isn't entirely exact, but, for comparison: under the previous system, the baseline inheritance was -- in terms of FEPs and LPs spent -- about 6.5%, with the inheritance from a full burial clocking in at around 40% of total FEPs and LPs spent. Old system thus (sans State Funeral) ranged from 6.5 to 40% inheritance, with the new system instead ranging from 15 to 45%.

Re: Game Development: Bring out yer Dead
I did read it, a bit confusing on my end as a player.
But that helps explain it a bit better.
Could I in theory, regain all my stats back if I make enough sacrifices?
