Fact is that most people in USA are stupid and uneducated. They dont ONLY lack common knowledge, but also common sense.
Even educated ones are mostly dumb.

Eh I don't think he was elected because of most of America being idiots only. It was a combination of idiots voting because of the "hurr durr build a wall", voter apathy, and voters who hate Hillary and know voting third party won't change anything but give her more chance in winning than if they voted Trump.

In other words, idiots are a factor, but it's mostly because of american democracy being a really flawed shitty system
