i dont believe ive met anyone from aki, but i live in the realm and none of them have come by to shitstomp me for setting up a claim in their region. so in my book the aki folks are cool. just be very wary of any small settlements you come across, as there are some people taking advantage of the generally positive reputation the realm has, and hunt noobs.

Been in aki a few months now. People generally seem helpful. Live in a smallish village to the north and the only time someone ever attacked us the king came and helped defend us. In general helpful people are in aki, with the occasional solo asshole

Been living in Aki land since I started this world. Nice players, plenty of english for communication if not native speakers, and I've seen them actively defend their realm inhabitants.

Couldn't say there's anything to complain about.
