How does that way suck? Wouldn't it serve it's purpose exactly or is there some other snow variable that I'm not thinking about?

Well perhaps you could invest with seasons in phases? Start with the easier seasons like Spring and Summer, and then later work on Autumn and Winter (leaves falling and snow). The game Don't Starve originally only had two seasons (Spring and Winter). I wouldn't mind if only 1 season was introduced at a time. Things that really help with the whole "persistent world" vibe of the game is one of the things I really love. A changing world gives me something to come back to.

Don't you worry.
