look like here was 1000 online after wipe, now its as usual 200... so 80% ppl not found this game playable

Actually, most of the playerbase seems to drop within the first 2weeks of the game, mainly because they're all like "HYPE HYPE HYPE" and it's mostly filled with all the noobs that die and quit within 2 weeks of starting the game anyway, but when they're on equal ground as everyone else and still suck then they quit and say "I'm waiting for next world, can we get a reset". It's the vicious cycle of the game.

NOOB = explore, build, testing all professions, looking for party (trade raid), try to get rare resource, dead
PRO = botting, alting, botting, alting, const party, only STR'AGI'CON, only rare resources, no one to kill as late game
and devs like that, because they always remove STRAGICON cap (300, 1000), & cant do usefulness to other stats(professions) above 300

u can get everything with power of stragicon
u cant defend yourself if u have alot int cha psy perc dex will
u may not use any trollSkull with ice if u r not focus on fighter alt
if u meet someone outside your home he will kill u or run to not be killed or looted

Yeah, big arguments come up around early game progression (too fast? too slow?) and amount of content for newer players. Problem is when you get to mid to late game, people get bored because it seems so much of it is quality grinding. It could be out looking for that water/clay/stone/ore that's a few Q higher than what you have access to, or it could just be the daily grind of farming and ranching. Rinse and repeat until you've found/have the best on the server.

Quests have helped, but even they get tedious due to the distances involved (though one can move efficiently across the map in just a few hours, less if you have good teleportation network).

also here is a reason to drop when u realize that:
u got minehole lvl1 & some one have lvl5 with botting candleberry
u killing a boar, someone killing bears & mammonth over pali
u going for rare resources by foot, but everywhere 1-3 HF from alts gathering it by cd
u replant your crops every day, but somewhere is a bot replanting carrots every 12hrs to raise its Q faster
u going for hunt once per day for a good spot, but here is alt making relogin every 30min & sending alarm to owner when good bone spawns
u going for mountain & see claimed rare resource (u need 20hrs to raid it, when owner need 30min to rebuild palisade)
u have tending to zero chance in fight 2vs1 (oppknocking alt or just 1vs1 against x2UA x2stragicon for the reasons outlined above)
& ofc u have 2weekly patches with bugs that will be fixed\finished in next month or year, or just removed in 15min (like curio melding)

It's a people problem, not the game.
If you look at the majority of the popular games out there they are dumb games (if you understand what I mean), or at least way more dumb than they were in the past.
Why? not because devs are dumb, but cause people want that, and devs make what people want.
Haven & Hearth is a way more clever game than the average out there ... so just play it for what it is, have fun with it not knowing stuff and discovering the game, taliking to people, playing with your creativity ... and don't care about dying or spend the whole day trying to increase the q of your carrots, that's just a part of the game.
Stop using costums clients and shits, or looking at what other people do, let the game surprise you, cause it's more fun when we don't know how it works, once you know everything you get bored, so try to discover stuff by yourself, and I can guarantee to you that you will enjoy the game much more at this way.

TL DR, not a game fault, it's people fault that don't even know anymore how to have fun with a game.

P.S. Just to be clear about costums: I'm not against with who creates customs clients, cuase they are really having fun with what they love, being creative about, working and having fun with it ... but not people that just passive use them.

ctopolon3, but an abundance of resources and good quality lead to loss of interest. Bots and alts will help you quickly get aimless boredom.

thats the reason because we hear "daed gaem" in 2 month after its wiped. also alting & parallels LP gain by 1 person who can control them all by script. game becomes not MMO it becomes RTS. its good option because very hard to found ppl same amount as alts (+bots are more pliable & productive)

NOOBS are noobs, they experience and deal with it or stay like in any other game
PROs aren't BOTs, but bigger factions do use bots bluntly. Also, it was few times confirmed that someone by hand can defeat bot. It all also depends on how big scale of something is.

also here is a counter-reason of yours:
-I was living with 5 other guys, 2 barely playing. When DIS and other folks have built LvL5 mine, we had already Level3 mine. No botting, maybe some luck. We did not desire more as we could not use L4 and L5 anyway.
-Yeah, I agree killing Mammoths so early with big cheese was a big disappointment, but well, they found how and they used it. Maybe next start it will be fixed? Who knows.
-I saw some folks hunting naked alts / destroying HFs making it fair fight (if not ambushing other players when they collect), it was ment to fight over it. -Collecting alts sucks but I saw many times this "tacting" being repelled.
-As I stated, some people by hand could replant carrots better than bots. I've saw a two guys playing together (one was american), when one was sleeping another one was taking care of stuff. At one point they suddenly stopped playing but I'm sure they were parcticipating in carrot race.
- Hunting is hunting. I see a lot of crying but I rarely see people IN-GAME crying about this. I never had myself such problem with good bones.
- Claiming mountain resources, before it was possible, people were fighting for it. I remember whole mountain being covered with scents. Here is the problem or properly setting up sieging mechanic. Also mountain resourcers mostly are useful for kingdoms and if You don't belong to such group really, You shouldn't be really complaining much.
- 2vs1 with alt. Wtf is that? Alt or not, If You get yourself caught 2vs1 it is your fuckin problem mate. 5 of us early game got attacked by group of 12 russians (that turned out to be in reality 3-4 russians with alts) and we fuckin not only repelled them but managed to destroy their fresh claim and stuff in retaliation. I can't say much more as I never participated in bigger fight, just only those where I had to defend myself.
- Bad patches happens but at least curio melting was quickly disposed of and talked with devs. We can blame jorb and loftar for making bad step forward then taking back that step fast. They try, we try, let's continue and give them good feedback instead of cry, cry or shit load.


Most of people quit early because half of players are people who will always yell for ANOTHER WIPE! ANOTHER WIPE! ANOTHER WIPE! because they lost rat race (normal against factions, when You're just small group or SOLO), because they lost their will as they achieved "everything until Q rising".
Also the wipe time could be something that affected this.

Also we saw that some people used bots to prepare huge bases.

Those 300 players that are playing currently (3/10 of what it was or so) plays regulary. Some fighters left due to recent changes but shit happens. Once something change, they could comeback. All people that I started the game has already quit but none of them claims that game made them quit. They just left to play other games with other group. They will come back later and they do not need a wipe for that.

The fact that you have thousands coming back for a new world every time says a lot. Typical MMO population progressions tend to be either big at launch and dwindle over the next 3-6 months, or boost when an expansion comes out, and dwindle back down again. There have been a handful of exceptions to this in the games that have reported player populations, and only one major one I can name off the top of my head that grew steadily from 10,000 players shortly after launch over a period of several years (and is still at the top of the games population over time).

I'm speaking of EVE Online, if you don't know.
