Crabs are good where they are.

Re: nerf damn crabs
is there a lesser chance to be pinched through metal gloves as opposed to leather, Jorb?

Re: nerf damn crabs
thats bullshit and you know it. i shouldnt be taking 10 damage to my hard hit points from picking up one crab. also the wound heals slow as hell.jorb wrote:Crabs are good where they are.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.
Neither do figuratively and literally.

Crab alts are dumb jorb. Can't I just get a net to scoop them up in? I've crabbed before, nets and cages (and maybe a chicken leg) is where it's at.jorb wrote:Crabs are good where they are.

I'm against weaking the crabs, but I'd like to see some medicine or anything to haste the recovery.

Re: nerf damn crabs
Really, not just the crabs. We are adults strong enough to carry loaded boats and full tree trunks around. And we don't fight fairies here. We get heavy wounds from crabs, got knocked out by swans and bats, learn moves from ants and get chased around by snakes running as fast as we do, while beavers are a challenge for organised groups of warriors in full battle gear. It's detrimental for anyone's self respect.
What did we do to the developers to deserve this diminishing of our human race? We don't role-play toddlers. Think of the boats and tree cutting again, that is something every new player can do from the first moment and we are supposed to evolve from that state, not to magically become weaker than ants. Ants you don't aggro and punch, you just step on them.

Wastelands. Ruins everywhere from proud civilizations, with today's survivors scavenging whatever they can carry even if they can't even use it. Eating rats cooked alive is OK for everyone. Walking around naked is natural, since very few have time to waste in getting a rag to cover their deep wounds. And the game is only Alpha.

Re: nerf damn crabs
He does have a good point, Jorb. Cages that require a few boards and some metal and rope. requires some sort of bait. has to be set in the water and left for a period of time. only get 1-3 crabs each time. you can offset the ease of getting crabs and the lack of pinching by the fact that anyone can come along and harvest the crabs.GamingRAM wrote:nets and cages (and maybe a chicken leg) is where it's at.
