Authority bar was moved to the Kith and Kin tab (CTRL + B). Look at the bottom, the middle button takes you to the Village tab.ZeggyZon wrote:I'm a hermit who put up a village claim a couple of weeks ago. Having played world 7 with many village claims I'm confused why I don't see an authority bar or any other way to see my authority. Is this normal? I'm using the amber client.

Is there a 'mass pickup' option, the way there's a 'mass plant' and 'mass harvest' option? Picking up all these poppies and straw is gonna give me carpal tunnel...

Hold Shift and then right click on an item - you will pick up all of that type of item.qoonpooka wrote:Is there a 'mass pickup' option, the way there's a 'mass plant' and 'mass harvest' option? Picking up all these poppies and straw is gonna give me carpal tunnel...

About the console commands. Do they reset every time the default client is closed and reopened? If not how do I reset the console commands options back to default? If such thing is even considered default.

Do surface water nodes extend past shores so I can build a well for better water? I believe this worked in legacy but I don't know if its true for current version.

Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
Yes they do, the water from the well is the same node system as the water in the rivers/lakes, you can build a well and level it up. Nodes are not the same as legacy though, they are odd shapes and are not centered on the grid like they used to be, so don't build your well on the grid center and expect it to be better quality. You can of course raise the quality with 'dig deeper' which will give you better water. Wells now require variable amounts of materials to build, simulating how far down it is to the water. You can find the cheaper place to build a well by dowsing however this will not necessarily be the place with the best water.ZeggyZon wrote:Do surface water nodes extend past shores so I can build a well for better water? How do I get higher Q crops? The highest Q WWW I can find is Q46 but my survival is much higher. I want to be able to get Q 100 crops or something.

In a new world, you would row down the river testing the water. When you find a good spot, place a few wells. Dig deeper on the best one.SANICHEGEHOGE wrote:How do you find higher Q water without wasting tons of resources?magisticus wrote:Yes they do, the water from the well is the same node system as the water in the rivers/lakes, you can build a well and level it up. In this world, find a road network to take you to the main towns of the kingdoms. There are some publicly available wells with quality in the 60s and 70s.

Plant your crops, with your Farming ability at least 5 points higher than the crop quality. When you harvest the quality will be -2 to +5 of the planted crop.SANICHEGEHOGE wrote:How do I get higher Q crops? The highest Q WWW I can find is Q46 but my survival is much higher. You can buy q100-200 seeds in the markets now.
