Barrel mechanics

Having the stockpile mechanic on barrels would be great (for crafting).I current have two barrels next to my Quern, one for seeds one for flour and it would be nice if i could just craft the recipe for flour and it knows that there is a barrel of seeds near by (like stockpiles and building) as well as outputting into the flour barrel. Just a little idea, any thoughts?

was just thinking about that the other day! was baking and it was so annoying that I had to take bucket from hand refill water from barrel and then put bucket back into hands like every 2-3min. If barrel would be treated like stockpile (or even able to open barrel like I can have many open Cuboards) that would be a great help indeed! :D

Agreed, being able to craft doughs with water directly from a barrel would make baking a lot less obnoxious, for one. +1

Please make it so it only uses the open barrel and not 'nearby' barrels...
