Temporary Buffs

So i've been playing alot of LOZBOTW and it got me thinking; Haven really doesn't have enough buffs.

So i propose this: Things like food and buildings should give temporary buffs, lasting for different times, and each having a cooldown in between so you can't continually get the same buff over and over, as soon as it's timer ends.

For instance, a sauna could relax you and give you a temporary debuff that lasts for a day or so, slightly increasing healing rate and slightly decreasing stamina cost during manual labor. (Farming, Mining, Using stuff like the Loom, Quern, etc)

Or maybe eating a large amount of carrots or carrot-related foods will give a buff to Perception. (Scaling from ql of said carrots and carrot-related foods.)

Idk, this just sounds really fun to me.

You can't eat the same thing to increase time or effectiveness of a buff, and you can only have one buff at a time.

What?

I'm talking about if my accounts are seperate then they can eat different things and therefore I have all the buffs but spread over chars.

Or if the idea becomes something regional then you just place the chars in that region.

Point is with buffs that I think if you introduce them, anyone who wants to ''matter'' in terms of progress will have to get all these buffs all the time or else you're behind on those who do.

Now how fun is that...

So yeah unless there's something to prevent that like only 1 type of buff possible for a certain duration let's say 4 days everyone in the world has the ability to get this buff etc. More balanced I think
