How much strength do i need to break down a pallisade wall that is already red?

Don't forget about the 'soak'. With palisades I think you need to do a minimum of 30 damage a hit to actually do any real damage. Battering rams give you 20 damage so using one you need to inflict an extra 11 damage to give the palisade a total of 1 damage. I think its based of your stregth alone. Maybe someone else can clarify.

every 10 strength you have adds 1 damage

a palisade will completely deflect the first 30 damage done on it without any kind of effect, a battering ram adds 20 damage and a pickaxe adds 2, so on your on you need either 310strength, 110strength and a ram or 90 strength a ram and a pickaxe before you do 1 damage, every 10 strength extra adds a aditional damage per hit


also a fully repaired palisade has 2500health

A ram can be manned by 4 people though so get some friends and break that palisade down.
