Is Dis still dangerous?

I'm not necessarily new, I've played the game on and off for a while now. But I remember that Dis used to do a lot of stuff to other players when i'd browsed the forums. Recently starting in again, I noticed I was in a border area to their realm. Should I be worried? Is moving something I should prioritize at all?

Eh, Realms being added was pretty neat. I'll try to move that way when my toon is a bit better stat built.

^^ Depending on where you are on the map, the Dis and Hedgehugs realms are literally side by side so you may not have to go that far. The Hedgehugs bonuses are worth travelling for.

Well I ended up in Storm so I must have gone and travelled the wrong way.

P.S. Walrus will indeed chase down your boat and leave you very wounded.

Moving to another place is not an easy thing to do in such an infrastructure based game. Start playing in the best place to start playing, which is the place with most bonuses.

Dis is no longer dangerous, they were early world when they were active and rampantly killing noobs but the majority of them quit now, their lawspeaker is some irrelevant noname farmer and their main couple of fighters sided with Hedgehugs.

You should watch out from A.D. though (Gangsta Style), they actively siege larpy noobs these days.

I feel like I'm just going to do what I did in previous Worlds. My main concern is I no-longer know who to actively avoid, I'll just keep my auto-hearthing enabled until otherwise and hope for the best.

Avoid Gangsta Style players. Northern Kingdom won't hurt you as far as I know (extremely unlikely they would, they're peaceful larpers), Hedgehugs won't hurt you, Dis is inactive and thus won't hurt you.

Kingdom of storms is peaceful. i live in the realm and its pretty nice, bonuses arent as great but the people are awesome.
