Nomad Credo Quest Bug

Stuck on "roast lynx meat," doesn't seem to be achieveable. Pretty sure I did this one several times before, no problem.

Nomad Level 5/5, Quest 1/12.

Tried restarting the client, roasting the meat with various windows open.
Tried eating it in case the directions were mislabeled.

Where did you roast the meat? Was it over a fireplace, or an open fire (Adventure>Build Fire)? Might matter.

Windows being open shouldn't matter, and in this case, client shouldn't matter, either, as it's a server side process, but it's always suggested to try things in the default client before posting to bugs.

Was a fireplace, it's what I've used for all prior quests of this type.

Saw some mention in other threads of having the quest window open so I was being thorough.

Abandoned the quest already so I can't further experiment.

Yeah, I think I saw that post, too. Still seems like something odd and more coincidental than actually the bug.

I know that there was a prior post about shooting a swan for the Hunter quest, and the person reporting the issue had to do very specific things to get the quest to register (use a stone arrow, not kill the bird with the shot). Using the fire was a thought that might get it to trigger.

I have the same issue as you. I'm also stuck on roast lynx meat. I've tried both a pit and a normal fire for roasting the meat and it will not count. Something else I think is related is that my friend cannot get past flaying a mouflon for the Hunter's Credo, she tried a stone axe but the next one killed she's going to try a metal one.
