credo quest "The Miner's Shaft"(bring a miner's helm to Hrossnik)
it's pointing to an empty terrain, tried the sorrounding objects but couldn't deliver

Re: Hrossnik quest giver missing
It's most likely a boulder in one of the underground levels.
I would at least expect that from a 'Miner' quest...

Hrossnik is underground. Not a bug.

Re: Hrossnik quest giver missing
The problem is QG-marker appears only on aboveground-level (and lead to empty spot), so it's a bug. Got the same by my own. So it literally makes such quests unfinishable.
Or is it intended to build l5 mineshaft somewhere near ground-level spot and blindly try to right-click on all boulders on each level?
UPD: And for everyone "just cancel the quest and go on" - I just did it, and u know what? Broken quest was L2/5 Q1/6, and I got L1/5 Q5/6, I've finished "mine black ore (x5)" and now I have "bring Pickaxe to %same*frukken*questgiver%".
So fix it, or fuck it.

Re: Hrossnik quest giver missing
The arrow points to the right spot, though. You need to either find a cave entrance with an existing path there, or build a mineshaft. Why would you need to "blindly click all boulders"? If you are on the right level, the arrow will point at the intended boulder.

Re: Hrossnik quest giver missing
If anything, there might conceivably be an issue where, if the questgiver is below the first level, the arrow is only visible at above-ground level and the exact correct cave level, but not on the cave levels in between. I haven't tested so I'm not sure, but it's possible that it might be that way.

Possibly the arrow should hint that the object is on another level (maybe even giving the direction)?

it is not and THAT's the bugloftar wrote:the arrow is only visible at above-ground level and the exact correct cave level
Also, miner-credo's-QGs should not be allocated in time former quest is completed (i.e. not demanding to interact with distant QGs every time).
Litle explanation
If I finish the quest "mine %some-ore%" at the end of my longest mine - the code will search for some QG to %bring% depending on my current location, but it should search from char's hf instead. IMO.

Is this any different from how quests normally work, though?Enjoyment wrote: If I finish the quest "mine %some-ore%" at the end of my longest mine - the code will search for some QG to %bring% depending on my current location, but it should search from char's hf instead. IMO.
edit: I should note that I think I'm in agreement with the idea you're trying to get through, but not sure searching from hearth fire is necessarily going to be any more helpful.
