Re: Amber Client

Post by Curaga777 »

Hello hello,
I've been playing with base H&H but would like to use Amber as my in game friends are using it and it seems awesome. However, when I load it up and select my character I get the following error message.
I have tried everything I can think of from clearing the registry, turning off firewall, updating Java, googling it, and after a few hours I've got to say its frustrating. Can anyone help me with this? Meanwhile I'll still be trying to make it work.
And like, other people have said they just installed it and ran but idk why its being such a butt for me.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Delayed error in resource lib/vmat (v26), from forking source backed by HTTP res source (http://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/)
Any help is appreciated, thank you! :D

I always get this crash after character selection. Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

In Windows Explorer go to %APPDATA%\Roaming and delete Haven and Hearth folder. Note that this will delete all cached maps and markers.
Then right click run.bat file, select edit, and change "http://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/" to "https://game.havenandhearth.com/hres/" notice the s after http.
