Re: Amber Client
Maybe its just me but this client is a mess right now. Its not loading in some buildings at all, like the guild hall or the windmill, or random objects like the village idol, it crashes any time I interact with any object on the same screen as those objects or buildings but doesn't usually give an error message it just closes the client. When it does give an error its just a single line stating the path to whatever object isn't showing up.

Have you updated? I'm not having any issues with it.

Re: Amber Client
Version 1.65.5 no problem. Had a GH not rendering because I ignored the update earlier today, but no problem after I updated. Guess who is the mess
Wastelands. Ruins everywhere from proud civilizations, with today's survivors scavenging whatever they can carry even if they can't even use it. Eating rats cooked alive is OK for everyone. Walking around naked is natural, since very few have time to waste in getting a rag to cover their deep wounds. And the game is only Alpha.

Re: Amber Client
Thats odd, I did indeed update it. In fact, I updated it, got frusterated, reset the cache for java, copied the update over a second time in case I had brain damage, got frusterated, reset the router in case it was my net, got frusterated, deleted all of the client, reset java's cache, wiped out everything related to temperary files on my computer, downloaded the client anew, and it still wasn't working right. But I have comcast internet so if it works fine for everyone else I'll blame their shitty service.
Edit: here is the first real actual error report its given me, in case anyone has any idea wtf:

Re: Amber Client
Hello, I am unable to move the map from it's current position as the "drag-drop"able top part is off the window. Is there anyway to reset it's position?
EDIT: I've also managed to hide it... Dunno how to get it back either.

Re: Amber Client
So I searched around a little for keywords i could think of for this? But while running amber client I"m having an issue and am simply not tech savvy enough to solve it.
I have the Amber Client files extracted to their own folder on my desktop named the same.
It opens and runs well enough for about a minute (thankfully long enough for me to get my coordinates!) But then just... poof. it closes. no error message no freezing, not warning whatsoever.
It's happened several times and there's no common action i'm taking (like entering chat, or interacting with something specific etc)
Just poof.
I JUST downloaded it yesterday so i would imagine its all updated? I'm not sure what other info to add to this but i'll answer any questions i'm able to just to run this because <3 <3 <3

Re: Amber Client
Is it possible to add a skybox in Amber or at least change the black color of the void to sky-blue?

Re: Amber Client
It's happening to me also for a few days now. But only when idling for a while. It could be a feature and not a bug, if you agree running bots nonstop with 0 user input is not how its makers expected us to play their game.Amanda_C1137 wrote:So I searched around a little for keywords i could think of for this?
