A forest on steroids? I'd say conifer, but those weird stringy trees make me think otherwise...

I`ve seen that kind of terrain. Couldn`t chop a tree (don`t remember exactly), but walking seems to be normal there.

If i remember walking takes your stam down. even normal walking id say its a crazy swamp of somekind maybe jungle type makes me wonder whats the point. can you build there?

Thicket or jungle. Your maximum speed is walking which drains stamina at the rate of running in forest while crawling drains stamina at the speed of walking. Plowing through this terrain is extremely draining on stamina. Any of this terrain that is plowed will only revert to normal forest ground and not this when the plowed ground decays,
