Different kinds of locks

Post by RickyP602 »

I think different kinds of locks could be fun. Most notably for me is the combination lock, but also others. Perhaps Padlocks, Chain locks etc... If you did padlocks, chainlocks or the like, the side you installed it on becomes very important obviously.

Different locks could make sense if there was some kind of lockpicking stuff. But lockpicking sounds like a stupid mechanic.

combination lock does seem usefull, sometimes i have too many keys to keep track of, theres always the risk someone with time can figure it out but then you shoulda used norm lock lol

Padlocks would be cool because you can lock/unlock from one side without a key but cannot unlock from the other.

Yes, and a lockpicking mechanic, and locks on houses. Would be neat.
