closets

Post by synaris »

buildable in small houses. (not longhalls and towers) closets would appear to be as a door but open like a container. they would have the same or slightly more space than a cupboard would, and reguardless of what floor they were built on, the limit is one closet per house. \

like cellars, they wouldnt take up any space. and like cellars they would require a bit of metal to build, say a nugget or two for the doorknob? unlike cellars you need to put in materials rather than take them out. plenty of wooden boards and stone required to build yourself a closet.

ONLY clothes armor ect can be stored in the closets. no hand held or other random items.
Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.

Neither do figuratively and literally.

I don't know about anyone else, but I live in a world where you can put things other than clothing in a closet.

I think that this idea is not sense making. In cellar, you will dig out more space from under house. For this closet, it is build on wall, so this is addition to house. Ordinary for closet to be carve out from existing footprint of house by put up some walls with door on interior. If we are putting closet on house's existing wall, then we would see some closet protrude from house from outside.

i mentioned cellars repeatedly because they set a standard. if you dig a cellar for a house, and then dig a minehole next to it. you can go down and that cellar wont exist down there.

although if you want to see a closet sticking out from the side of a house, that can work.

wardrobe takes up space, the ideas is, closets dont. its like a wall decoration you can right click to access its inventory.
