Against this. x3 Like others pointed out a lot of crafted curios are better than bluebells even with the ability to plant and grow bluebells up to q200ish. I could make strawdolls and flower bouquets that offer me better LP options than bluebells, and strawdolls aren't exactly hard to make. And with the farming credos upping quality for both the straw and say.. flax, isn't exactly hard.

You're missing the point.

While yes it is indeed a fact that there are better curios which can be made than bluebells, that's a topic regarding Quality. The Quality system in Haven and Hearth is an imbalanced sack of shit. An endless cycle of raising numbers and to what end?

Farming and Foraging should both be unique and viable in their own ways. Imagine for a second that Quality didn't exist and all curios were at their base Q10 amount. Just for a second. The ability to literally farm an otherwise rare and good item with simple dirt and water would be silly. It would completely remove the need to forage that item, literally erasing their rarity.

What I'm getting from you is that wild bluebells should rather be found at Q160+, or whatever is comparable to strawdolls or other easy to make curiosities. To that angle I would agree that foragables should be able to compete with the farming lifestyle, but once again this moves us towards the topic of Quality.

If there was a way to make wild Bluebells comparable to their currently farmable versions and those crafted curios you mentioned, would you then be in support?

I think garden pots are fine and balanced as far as curios. You may get better from pots but in all honesty dilligent foraging can find more lower q form which you can study faster. However bluebells are rare.

idk whats wrong, before implementing cb for gps they nerfed lp/h so now you should raise its q to get that lvl(near 175q as 10q earlrier). And theres a lot of handmade curios much better than any possible cb(as was said before). You know i think you just enjoyed foraging them and now theres no reason, just calm down. I guess everyone should get used to suffering lol

Over all, I have to agree with you, but I'd rather keep access than make things more complicated than necessary. Adding in the need for the localized resources when they need to be changed/fixed (my opinion, shared by others) isn't helpful.

This is just an interaction that needs to be added, like getting a hopped up cone cow and such.

Well this got more complicated. Theorizing new or improved mechanics to fix or solve other mechanics and styles of play is a tricky mess.
Excluding Localized Resources being needed, do you have any ideas? I made a post suggesting that Lore improves Nodes to help keep foraging relevant. viewtopic.php?f=48&t=60126 But outside of that and Localized Resources being needed, I'm stumped.

Maybe they'd sprout legs and move around? :P

next world remove the credo suicide exploit, gardeners would be more rare, as well as other credos

If they do that then I think there should be a hard cap on how many quests a credos can go up to. I had returned a little later sure but I never used said exploit and getting the farmer credos finished alone was a pain in the butt (as a farmer being required to harvest 50x hops for example xD). I was still working on gardener credos.. only got level 1 of it done because it kept asking me to harvest 15 of one of the things that takes like a week or so to grow. And I had created like 60 garden pots just to plant large numbers of the longer to grow plants only for it to then request me to do a different one, or harvest even more than what I had tried to plan ahead on.

x3 Not to mention the nightmare I've heard of some of the other credos.. no. I think instead of simply 'removing' the exploit, something else needs to be done in order to make said exploit (or creating a dozen alts) not a necessity.
