I think it could be a good addition, since there are no uses for olives currently, and the extraction press is underutilized. Olive oil could be used instead of butter or fat for frying foods, maybe giving a dex bonus to all foods using olive oil. It could also be used in salads as both a whole olive and as a dressing with vinegar.

i just looked it up and the wiki, and was surprised to see olives in the game at all. we have olives but dont have olive oil? that would be like having sheep without being able to cut wool.

If you like to save money, this may be a good use for you! Using a mixture of fat you may have purchased or saved, add an equal amount of olive oil and let sit. Soap made with extra virgin olive oil may take longer to cure, and this is by no means a comprehensive guide to making soap. So if you are interested in this process, consult a more thorough guide

harder to make better soap?

olive oil makes a great wood furniture polish and conditioner (though your local carpenter might not even know about it)

after build something polish it for a small q boost if made of wood or new stuff thats fancy and needs polished in materials needed
